Meet the beautiful Hailey

I got to do a photo shoot with my best friend's daughter, and let me tell you- I loved every second of it.

The word beautiful doesn't even begin to describe this little girl.
She is stunning from the inside and out.  Her features blow me away, and her heart is made of gold.
She was so comfortable in front of the camera.. I absolutely LOVED this shoot.

Your Auntie loves you, little Hailey girl!

Here's a few of the goodies:

I've hit a road block, baby..

I've decided to hit pass on Day 10 of the truth series.
I'm on day 10: someone you need to let go, or wish you didn't know.
A little bit of letting go needs to happen, and out of respect, I wish to throw daggers & mention any names.
I've hit a road block in life.  It's all about the twists, the turns, the ups, & the downs... the roller coaster is what makes you stronger.
Sometimes I feel okay, but I know I can feel better.  The better is what I'm working on- it's going to be tough, but I know in my heart that my letting go is right.
So please pardon me if my future posts are short & sweet.  I've got a lot on my plate.  But I'll throw a promise at ya'll... I'm not going anywhere.
With time it will get better.  I'm sure of it (isn't it a great feeling to assure yourself?).. I can see into the future, & it sure does look puurrdy.

I know my friends have came up a lot lately.  They're a huge source of happiness in my life.. along with my family, &, well... of course... my love & life, Jaelyn Ryleigh.
So here's some fun pictures of the past.. starring a few friends, some family, and my bug-of-a-belly.

(I'm still on my Mama's computer, so the new pictures will have to wait)

Photo credit goes to Jhen Stark @ From Here to Eternity.  Isn't she lovely? I sure do think so.

These here crazy boys protect me... and how I love them all so.
My best friend. My love.
My Mother is beautiful.
Ohhhhh Brother.
I had no idea that I was going to feel a love like this.  That unexplainable love... & boy am I happy to hold her in my arms.  To feel her soft cheeks on my lips, to hear her screams, coos, stories, and giggles, to watch her scoot her little booty around with pure determination that she will crawl... soon!, to see her eyes light up and smile from ear to ear at the instant sight of her Mama... these are the thing I see that assure me.  I know it will all be okay.

Oh, & P.S.- HAPPY PUMPKIN DAY!

30 days of truth: Day 9

Day 9: Someone you didn't want to let go, but just drifted.

Erin English
That girl and I had a rockin childhood.  We literally did everything together.  When I think of fun while growing up, Erin English's name comes to mind.
We have a list of "firsts" that could go for daaayysssss...... we were the tom boys of all tom boys.
We were the best of friends.

When we started Jr. High, we just kinda went our own ways.  We started our on sort of life... and we didn't see the need to keep tight.
I miss that girl.

I know I haven't told you in a LONG time...
but I really love you, Erin (& yes, as mentioned... our childhood really did rock).

..I'm currently on my Mama's computer, so I have zero pictures to share.  This blog is naked if you ask me.  I'm a picture kind of girl.  But good news! My whole dang-fam-bam went out for some fun today.  A good friend of mine had his camera (no, I didn't have mine.. weird, right?), so I'm planning on stealing a few for tomorrows post.  Be prepared- they should be goodies.

I'll just pass on this one...

Day 08 → Someone who made your life hell, or treated you like shit.
& my reason for choosing pass on this one, is because the people/person who treated me like shit (language, yes I know), are/is no longer a part of my life.
So I'll stick with talking about one that I love... since it was her 13th week birthday yesterday.

Jeff & I took Jae to the Pumpkin patch... it was so much fun.  It was nice to get a true taste of Fall (besides the 85 degree weather).

She was more interested in my bracelets then the camera.

Yes, I know our heads are cut off... but so what.  I like it.

My Mama loves Roosters... & I love my Mama.  So this one is for... welp, my Mama.
The many faces of Jaelyn.
Her first Goat meeting didn't really go as planned.  He thought she was lunch.

30 Days of Truth: Day 7

Day 7: Someone who made your life living for
These people mean the world to me- in no particular order

I want to say thank you to this group of people.  You have been here for me through thick & thin.  During the good & bad.  To laugh with me, cry with me, listen to me, & hug & kiss me.  Because of you, I am who I am today.
I cherish & adore you.
I love you.

30 Days of Truth: Day 6, Simplicity, & touch up Tuesday

Day 6: Something you hope you never have to do
This is me... with writers block.  Maybe it's because I woke up an hour earlier than usual & I just got my first sip of coffee down me?
I'm just going to straight up avoid this one and make it a photo blog.  I have TONS of goodies to share with you.

Lets start with Touch Up Tuesday:

Edited in PS CS4
1. Cloned shadows in the grass
2. Adjusted brightness/contrast and brightened a bit with curves
3. Used My Four Hen's Glee action at 75% opacity

I'm just getting into this action deal... so bare with me :)

30 Days of Truth: Day 5 added with some Show & Tell

So I've been MIA & I didn't even give you guys a heads up.  I know, SO not cool.
My Brother is now a married man.  We had wedding festivities from Thursday-Sunday.  The word busy doesn't even begin to say how insane things have been.  So here's my apology for just up and peacin' out on you guys.

I'll start with the Show & Tell challenge.

Show:

Tell:
This is the Estate that my Brother got married at.  They threw my booty up in a Bucket Truck so I could snap a few shots of the property.. thank goodness I love heights, right?

Photography love...

Here I am... with the friendly bucket truck man.

Day 5: Something you hope to do in your life
This day of truth is going to consist of a list... because there's many things I hope to do.  It's a list that has complied over the years, and I'm super happy to share it with you.

  • I hope to one day go Skydiving.
  • I hope to one day meet Dolly Parton (she's my 3rd cousin!).
  • I hope to one day learn about my family tree- from both sides of the family.
  • I hope to one day go to Thailand, Australia, The Bahamas, & Hawaii.
  • I hope to one day walk down the isle to marry Jeff.  I hope to one day share Jaelyn's last name with her.
  • I hope to one day graduate college to become an RN.
  • I hope to one day watch my daughter get married to the love of her life and have bebes (yes, I think it would be amazing to be a Grandmother).
  • I hope to one day name a star after Jaelyn.
  • I hope to one day help a family in need build a home.
I have a feeling I'm missing something... oh well.  I'm sure the list will grow larger and larger as my life goes on.

You ready for some photos?
Here's some teasers:

Mama.  I do love her so (& look how stinkin' cute she is!).

This was needed.  I don't do shots.  I repeat... I DON'T do shots.  I hate (yes, hate) them!

I have tons more that need editing.  My house is calling my name.  I'll be back tomorrow to share some more!
