Scavenger Hunt Sunday + some Birthday lovin'

Let's start off with the important stuff...

 & they love me...

I had a bad morning... that went good.  No, not good- amazing.  My day was perfect.
As you already know, I have the best of friends.  Just when it's great, they add more great... to make it the perfect recipe of perfect.

I decided to conquer Scavenger Hunt Sunday this week.  I had a lot of fun with it...
I took a chance on this one... it was Jae's first time eating from a spoon.  I consider it "historic".  It's one for the books.

I can't help but to get back to this Birthday of mine.  You know, the birthday that I call "perfect"?
Here's a few photos from my dinner.  I loved every.single.second.
...& please excuse my SOOC.

ya'll know how much I love these lil' ones..

...& then, she snapped

Hello Friday!

I have a living room full of family that I should be entertaining, but I managed to escape with my Bebe for feeding time & a quick blog post.
& then, she snapped has a fun photo challenge called Show {Off} Your Shot.

Here's my shot that I'd like to show the world:
Even though I didn't snap it, I'm showing it... because I love it.
& I feel it's necessary to show it off.

My camera was on manual & my Mama doesn't have a clue about M setting... so I did my best to edit.  It's a tad noisy, but this is me not caring :) it's a moment that was captured to be shared for life.
Plus, she's wearing MY sweater from when I was a babe.

Smile, friends!
and then, she {snapped}

Tis' the season to be Thankful!

Things that I'm thankful for (and Jae too!):

First and foremost, I am thankful for this Motherhood life that I have entered in to.  I could not imagine my life without my precious little one.  Being a Mother is everything and more that I ever believed it to be.
Which enters into another: I am thankful for my baby girl, Jaelyn Ryleigh.  She completes me.

{now in no particular order}

I am thankful for the amazing Mother and Father I have (& Jae is thankful for such rockin' grandparents)

I am thankful for the Johnson Family, my Kristin, Heath-Butt, B, Yhesse (& all the rest of my amazing friends)... you guys keep a smile on my face, keep me laughing (BELLY laughs, time & time again), and you keep me grounded. I LOVE you guys.

I am thankful for Jhen Stark and all of the support she has shown me this past few months.  You're one beautiful woman.. inside and out.

I am thankful for my Brother and oh-so-beautiful Sister-in-law.  I'm thankful for the beautiful baby boy that is creating inside her tummy (Jae & I can't wait to meet you!).. (okay so I just got a little emotional)
I love you already, my little nephew!

I am thankful for the strength and happiness I have found in myself.  This separation from Jaelyn's Father has NOT been easy, but I am strong.

I am thankful for Photoshop & my Canon... with that beautiful duo, I have been able to barely stay on my feet financially.

I am thankful for coffee. (No, really... I am)

I am thankful for my Droid.  I giggle as I type this, but I must admit... I'm addicted.

I am thankful for good health.

I am thankful for my Grandparents, and for all of the support they have given my Brother and I.  We love you guys.

I am thankful that Jaelyn has such an involved Father.  He strives to be a better Dad daily.

I am thankful for hope.
"May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough trials to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy"-author unknown

I am thankful for those quiet times.  You know those times that you just breathe in? Those "I want to stop the world and melt with you" moments? I cherish those moments.

I'm thankful for my readers (all 25 of you faithful followers)... you guys keep me bloggin'.  I'm also thankful for all of your encouraging comments!

I'm thankful for my family.  Every single one of you.  Near and far.  We share blood, yo!

Jaelyn is thankful for her sleep sheep... it assists her in those "I wanna fight the hardest fight I have in me" n-night times.

and last, but not least...
I'm thankful for life.  Every ounce of it.  I breathe life in... I take in every second as possible.
I love my life.

A minute & forty two seconds of fun

Hi friends!
First off, I would like to apologize for being an AWFUL blogger! I'm currently in the process of operation bedroom/nursery makeover.  It's a pretty time consuming project (& my eyes are quite bigger than my bank account and biceps!).

I have ALL intentions of taking on operation Blog makeover as soon as my bedroom & Jae's nursery is complete.

Here's a minute and forty two seconds of fun!
I literally said "whoa" when I stumbled across this:
Click & love the animation.
The fun video

& what's a posting without a photo?
Jae says "Hello!"
SOOC.. see? I don't even have time to edit!

Once upon a time...

I was a blonde (& she was a red head).
Flashback Friday Button

But I felt it didn't work for me... so I went back brunette.

P.S.: I LOVE this girl.

You Capture: What inspires you?

When I thought about inspiration, I thought about my best friend and her family.  They inspire me.
Tabitha has been by my side for 15+ years... through thick and thin.  She inspires me daily to be a better Mom, to be a better friend, and to be a better wife (to whomever that may be to).  She's the one who can give that little boot to wake me up every now and again- and she know just how to do it.
We've had every best friend moment to be had... well, that's what I think until another best friend moment comes around the corner to surprise me.

This family inspires me.  What they have is something unbreakable.

The Johnson's are love.

I love you guys... more than life itself.

[My entry]

Okay, I took a risk.  I must admit, I'm not the happiest with the outcome, but I felt it was necessary to post it so I can look at it in the future and giggle at myself (because I hope to learn to do it better).  Send me your thoughts, tricks, and secrets... Help! Haha.
I'm going to enter this with Captivus Living's photoshop challenge:
I used MINIMAL liquify on this, but heck, I used it, right?

Lovely Wednesday

My dear friend over at From Here to Eternity did a posting on love today.  I must admit, she inspired me.
Who needs love? We all do! Here's my reasons to love my Wednesday:

I LOVE that I made homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.  I mixed the ingredients while Jae sat in her bouncer and cheered me on.

I LOVE that 4 months ago today, I gave birth to this amazing, beautiful, happy, healthy baby girl.

I LOVE that the sun is shining.  I'm a sunshine kind of girl... those rays make me happy.

I'm loving my evening walks with my Jae.  The Fall sunsets are perfect.

I LOVE that I have such an amazing family to fall back on when I am in need.

I LOVE Mae.  I love Mae live.  I love Mae's lyrics.  I love that Mae can make a good day better.  I love that I can relate to most of Mae's songs.  Don't know Mae? Check them out.  Mae is love.

I'm loving all of the photo inquiries I'm receiving.  Your amazing comments are so encouraging.  Thank you!

I'm going to link up to This Kind of Love... so I can share my love.  Enjoy!
