It's a contest, friends!

I think I lost my creative mind while showering a few weeks ago.  I'm pretty sure I watched it swirl down the drain as I rinsed the conditioner out of my hair.  Can you help me find it?  It may be in your sink.

As most of you know... Jae gets her photos taken once a month in a photo shoot setting.  We have tons of fun with it.  Remember her 7 month photos? We aimed for the Springtime, soft look.  We've done some cute Baby Boudoir, fun time with her stuffed animals for her 6 months, and even some more relaxed photos on Mommy and Daddy's bed.
I want something good, unique, and fun for her 8 month shoot.
So let's play a game.  Toss me some ideas for her 8 month photo shoot.  Don't be shy! Comment your little heart out.

I was thinking about doing a linky party for this grand idea.. but it's not that big of a deal.  Maybe we'll do that for her year birthday.

And guess what? We're going to have a winner! Jeff and I will sort through your comments and juggle around your ideas- I'll leave it up to the Daddy Jeff's lovely brain to choose the big-bad winner.
Wanna know the prize? An all inclusive trip to Jamaica!
Ok, kidding.

I betcha didn't know I can make things, did you?
I'm a beast when it comes to sewing up a big, bad camera strap (and by saying big, bad.. I actually mean super cute).
I guess all I'm trying to say is... winner will be chosen on March 24th, and announced on Friday the 25th, and you will receive a super cute camera strap... made by ME!, in a really cute package via standard mail.
Please keep in mind that I am a natural light photographer.  No flash used.  I wish I could do all of that super cool "look, the baby is floating away into the neighbors yard" photography, but I'm pretty sure you need $2,000.00 worth of flashes in order to accomplish.  I ain't all about that (but I wish I was!).

Sooooo- get to commenting, friends!
P.S. See my button over there ----> (and down a bit)? Grab it! Post it! Share with your friends! I'll love you for all of my Blogging years!

  3. How about something really colorful? She's so sweet {{kind of reminds me of candy}} so, maybe holding a colorful pinwheel? Or a bunch of colorful balloons?? Or even an {unwrapped} big loli-pop?? Anything you do she will look adorable, she's so cute!

  5. Buy one of those BIG bright Green buckets or pink buckets for drinks, fill it with colorful balls like the ones in the ball jump and stick her in that with a giant colorful sucker! It could be a super bright photo session! hehe

  8. I think you should use balloons. Get 8 of them, line them up behind her. She'll be sitting on a blanket outside somewhere, wearing a tutu and a cute headband.

  9. April is a rainy month here... maybe a water theme? Rain jacket, watering cans for her to play with, sitting in a garden or something? That could be super fun! :)

  10. I want to just let them roll around in a mess of paint. I did this with Tripp and it was okay cuz he kept his binkie in, but Penny just wanted to eat it.

Or, you can stick her in a big bowl of froot Loops...that's been my thing lately and it makes for some super colorful bokeh.
